A Few Testimonials from just some of our lovely guests

Autumn - January 2025

This was honestly one of the most wonderful stays I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, warm, and so thoughtfully considered. The space is immaculate, beautifully minimalist, and incredibly comfortable. It instantly felt like home.

Sarah is an exceptional host: warm, kind, proactive, and always responsive. Little welcoming touches on arrival made the stay feel extra special. There were so many thoughtful, personal touches throughout the space that made the stay feel considered, without ever feeling cluttered or overdone.

The location is peaceful and private, surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet perfectly placed for walks, runs, and getting everywhere easily. My expectations were exceeded in every possible way, and I’ve genuinely never felt so comfortable and happy away from home. I can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Just had a wonderful stay for New Year. The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped cottage for four adults and pets. The pictures do not do this place justice as it is so much more spacious inside and it was all the little extras that Sarah provided that made all the difference, including coffee pods and syrups, fresh eggs and wine as well as those small toiletry items you forget. This was the perfect place to rest, relax and enjoy time with friends in the comfort of the cottage and the woodburner provided some addition warmth and cosiness.
The Rose and Crown pub in the village of Burwash has all that charm you expect from a country pub and worth a visit.
A place to revisit and enjoy the country views from the secluded garden perhaps in the summer. Thank you Sarah.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and we honestly can not recommend this cottage enough

It is a beautiful, welcoming cottage that you instantly feel at home in.

It is spacious but still cosy and has all the amenities you may need on your stay. The views are stunning and it really is such a peaceful place to stay

This is the second time we have stayed here at Christmas and it never disappoints! The cottage is always immaculately presented (including Christmas tree and decorations ♥️) with some lovely treats on arrival.

Everything is spotless and has a real home from home feel to it, we're always so welcome, and we're left alone to enjoy the place as if it were our own.

We love staying here, it gives us everything we need in a great location and nothing is ever too much trouble for Sarah and Mark.
